Sam Lumpton

Puppet Coach

Sam is an actor and played 'Princeton' and 'Rod' in the 2012 UK Tour of Avenue Q for Cameron Mackintosh. He trained at Manchester School of Theatre. He is currently playing 'Boq' in the west end musical Wicked

Other Theatre work includes:  'Greg' in Single Sex and 'Gena Hamlet' in Galka Motalka (Royal Exchange Theatre, Manchester); "Granger" in I Do Not Like To Play (Liverpool Playhouse, Everyword Festival); 'Harry' in Love On The Dole and 'Young Collector/Sailor' in A Streetcar Named Desire (Bolton Octagon). "Jim/Ensemble" in The Hired Man (Bolton Octagon) which won the 2010 TMA Award for Best Performance in a Musical, which was awarded to the entire ensemble. In Summer 2012 he originated the role of 'Ben' in the new musical Firing Life.

Television includes: The Late Late Show (RTE) and Ireland:AM (TV3).
